A Messianic Believer is one who believes Jesus Christ was and is the Messiah. It is proven through scared writings and the
Prophets, that the Messiah would come and take away the sins of the world.
It is also a term that is being used more and more among Believers. This is because there are aspects of the Christian
Faith beyond the *Grace* message and the *Faith* message, a movement to bring the scriptures to us by Messianic interpretation
which is simply a prophetic flow into His culture using cultural terms.
The scriptures have been translated into just about every known language. Through this process, there is the possibility
for the *spirit* or intent to be *lost in translation.
The Messianic Believer and their role may not appeal to everyone, but it is a very real position and should be supported.
The Center does not challenge any theological approach but only the heart of those called to this area can grasp the beauty
that can be found here.
To those who seek to understand, it is more than an occasional fad. Participants experience growth thru both a Messianic
prospective and a cultural backdrop.
Presently, the Church at large refuses to be persuaded through Messianic understanding, much like it resisted Praise &
Worship. It took the Church a long time before Praise & Worship became main stream in our services.
So much so, that there was a time when Praise & Worship would be conducted AFTER a Testimony/Devotional Service.
We are experiencing the same type of resistance within the present Messianic movement. The Center for Messianic Study
offers the opportunity to soberly examine both the Messianic and Believer/Priest movements through the light of the scriptures
and the culture from which it was birth.
The Center for Messianic Study is a safe place to learn how Jesus and His Culture can communicate to Believers.
